Synopsis
A fun filled musical entertainer for children & adults.
What will happen if one day our household things like Tap, Bulb, Fan & Dustbin decide to revolt against their misuse.
It’s a story of a house where the family members, consciously or unconsciously have a habit of misusing resources like water and electricity in daily life. They have no sensitivity for the environment. Dadaji arrives for the summer holidays and notices these bad habits of the family members. he takes it upon himself to try to make them understand the consequences of wasting our precious resources but all his attempts are in vain. Finally, household things take matters into their own hands and decide to revolt against their misuse. They even manage to win over ‘Dadaji’ who is visiting over to their side. A number of hilarious and thought provoking situations arise between the children when their parents leave them home alone and go on a short trip. The play ends with every member in the family accepting their mistakes. They realise the importance of resources given by Mother Earth and promise to care of them in future.

We believe theatre is an innovative and effective tool for learning. Theatre as a medium has an inherent quality of being collaborative and interactive. It demands the involvement of its audience and it leaves a long-lasting impact on young minds. The basic premise of this play is “What will happen if one day our household things like Tap, Bulb, Fan & Dustbin decide to revolt against their misuse.”
We always wanted to do a play which talks to kids about the our immediate issue, not just some fairy tale. Content with which kids could relate to easily and use the learnings in their daily life. The play, on one-hand tries to sensitise us to our immediate environment and on the other, talks about the bigger picture that is “The Mother Nature.”
